A capstone smart city IoT platform spanning hardware through cloud. Three ESP32 hardware node types publish sensor data via MQTT, ingested by FastAPI and persisted in PostgreSQL. Smart bins report fill levels and trigger collection alerts; adaptive streetlights adjust brightness based on ambient conditions. Live dashboards built in Vite display real-time sensor feeds; a React Native mobile app provides field monitoring. Azure infrastructure (VMs, database, networking, storage) provisioned entirely via Terraform for repeatable zero-touch deployments.
